Aditya College of Engineering – Computer Centre (CC) serves as the backbone of the institute’s computing and IT infrastructure. It is responsible for maintaining and managing all software development activities, centralized computing resources, and a robust networking infrastructure across the campus.
The computing facilities at the CC include modern PC and workstation laboratories equipped with high-performance systems and both general-purpose and department-specific software. These labs support teaching, research, and project work across various engineering disciplines, enabling students and faculty to work on simulations, programming, design, and data analysis.
On the networking front, the CC manages a secure, high-speed wired and wireless network that spans the entire campus, ensuring seamless internet connectivity in classrooms, laboratories, hostels, and administrative buildings. Additionally, the Centre oversees a centralized mail and messaging system, cloud-based services, and network storage solutions that support academic and administrative communication and collaboration.
The Computer Centre also plays a key role in:
Hosting and maintaining departmental and institutional servers
Managing cybersecurity, firewalls, and data protection systems
Providing technical support and user training for faculty, staff, and students
Facilitating online learning platforms, ERP systems, and digital library access
Supporting research activities through access to high-performance computing (HPC) and software tools
Through its services, the Computer Centre ensures that the technological needs of Aditya College of Engineering are met efficiently and reliably, thereby fostering an environment conducive to innovation, learning, and digital advancement.
